CHMS has been hosting the Chinese Proficiency Test since 2007, with candidates including students from other schools and members of the public. The HSK, recognized globally as the most authoritative Chinese language proficiency test, has seen rapid development in recent years. HSK results serve as:

  • Proof of Chinese language proficiency required for admission to Chinese higher education institutions or for postgraduate applications.

  • Proof for exempting or waiving corresponding Chinese language courses.

  • A benchmark for employers assessing the Chinese language skills of potential hires.

Since CHMS began organizing this international test, numerous students have achieved excellent results. Many candidates have successfully used their HSK scores to study in China, easily meeting language requirements or even qualifying for exemptions from related language exams. Some in-service teachers have also utilized this pathway to pursue Master’s degrees in China. Various Chinese scholarships prioritize applicants with outstanding HSK and HSKK results.

Furthermore, due to updates in the HSK testing system and associated hardware requirements, the number of places available for public registration is limited this year. Therefore, the test center will operate on a first-come, first-served basis until 10TH AUGUST 2026. Registration will close once the quota is full. Interested candidates are strongly advised to register as soon as possible.
